My Android Speechify app has a link for Kindle. This opens a webpage listed as read.amazon.com where I can then pick one of my purchased or borrowed Kindle books.

I had not actually looked at the link addresses before but I did so this time because of your comment about Kindle4PC, so I guess that Speechify is linking to an actual Amazon (ie, Kindle) display and so I would think that Kindle is counting the pages. That is really helpful because I did not want to be reading a KU book where the author was not being paid, so thank you for the post.
