Nice idea. So I just tried it and, no dice. The book on the Keyboard counts toward the limit.

ETA: I can't help thinking that this was deliberate on Amazon's part. They told people in so many words to download their libraries to their soon-to-be defunct devices. Especially for someone who might have had more than one heritage device, they could be left with very few licenses to play with.
