I disagree that this thread is useless, partly because it is very interesting to me, and bit more urgently because I quit using ebooks.com and kobo.com over a year ago because their web storefronts became too user hostile for me and google and apple are not the tiniest bit under consideration for me. I do snag a humble bundle from time to time.
It might be a long time before there is a good chance of finding a book via this thread, but no one really knows what books are out there and people contributing to this thread is a way to help find out.
Do the people pronouncing that "this thread is useless" really want to join the ranks of those that think that everyone is required to share only their opinions and values? (I think JohnF's first post is at least slightly tongue-in-cheek".)
