Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, for the original Kindle DX the guide at kindlemodding.org does not work. I have used it for several newer Kindles, but not for the original Kindle DX (ID 0004)

I did however eventually find this thread and it got me to a working KUAL and KOREADER
