I voted against ads. I mean look at what happened to TV in america, as soon as DVRs became more popular they started adding the ads directly on top of the show! Let me tell you the CW has the ugliest green ad banner in the world and it's highly distracting, and then they added moving parts to the ad. I think if we gave an inch on this they'd take a mile and soon we'd have Ghost hunters walking across our text or some other crap.
I'm at the point where I feel like waiting for the dvds to come out to watch a tv series because it's much less annoying than the banner ads that take up half the screen of the show as it's playing. DVR last time I checked can't help you there.
