Kindle for PC was "hacked" (not really the correct term but we'll ignore that) years and years ago. The ability to remove DRM via the program has been on again off again for that long. Good on Satsuoni for their most recent efforts, but I doubt Amazon even took that much notice, to be honest. They tend to work a little farther ahead than that. I've seen too much of this back and forth over the years to attribute any special effort being made on Amazon's part to thwart an individual's efforts against them. They do what they do, whenever they decide to do it. They're not "watching the forums" to see who's getting close to breaking through on anything by any means (sorry if that pops anyone's notion that they've gained any sort of notoriety in Amazon employee circles).
