Or you just go to Kobo and sign in, then access your books on the web. Look for the 3 dots and select download. If there's DRM, you'll get an ASCM file, if not, then you'll get an epub with a long file name (usually including the ISBN). If you install the DeASCM plugin, you just import the ASCM files directly into Calibre. The epubs will import straight away.

By syncing on your Kobo, you run the risk of LCP DRM files.
