Version 1.2.9 New: Proactive Update Detection
Smart Startup Check: The plugin now automatically checks for the latest calibre version 5 seconds after launch.
One-Click Update Dialog: If an update is found, a new dedicated window appears showing the new version number. You can start the update immediately with the "Update Now" button or postpone it with "Not Now".
