Let me rephrase this: Given that I have a Kindle Scribe (2024) (the one with the white bezel), do I reduce the probability of being able to use a jailbreak that might come out at some time in the future by updating the firmware from 5.19.2 to a newer minor version e.g., 5.19.3 or 5.19.4, should these be released and contain interesting additional functionality?

The underlying question is: How high is the probability that there will be a jailbreak that will not be usable with a firmware version later than 5.19.2?

And I know that this is highly speculative…

Cheers, Joe
