Canada doesn't have the accessibility laws of the US, so there's lots of places in my town I couldn't get the wheelchair - just one step, narrow doorways, etc.

I use a quad-cane already, but it's not compensating so well anymore and comes with own set of problems such as shoulder bursitis and having only one hand to carry things with.
