The latter are the problem as they may be quite inappropriate/unsettling.
Keeping Kindle (needlessly amshittified for Kids) offline keeps more crap from creeping into it (once deleted via file system),
but how does one get the additional "SWIPE TO UNLOCK" out of the way
(which keeps appearing even in enforced absence of new ads to show) ?
