The new app has now launched. They are giving away 7 ebooks/audiobooks and 1 audio drama for a month as a bribe to adopt the app, but they are locked to the app. (I had kind of hoped there might be a loophole and they'd be available to dowload as epubs via the blacklibrary site before it closes, but no such luck.)
