Sorry for the necrobump. My wife and I have both been experiencing this on our Sages. It's not all of the time but more often than not the touchscreen is virtually useless when plugged in. I decided to a little testing with my Sage plugged into my Framework laptop. Basically as soon as the laptop was plugged into the wall the screen would become unresponsive. I also put a USB c current meter inbetween the kobo and laptop to see if there was some difference in draw between the two situations but nothing changed when the wall charger was plugged in or removed. I have a very limited knowledge/understanding of electronics and circuits, but does that seem like there might be short to ground in the touchscreen?
I've seen others complain that the entire device is unresponsive, buttons and all, but ours are just the screens. Just wondering if there's been any other information on this in the last few years?
