If they do, then WORK should supply the PC. I don't know when things changed from WORK supplying required equipment, to assuming any hourly employee supply almost everything. BTW California employment law says they can require 'hand tools', (also there is a requirement of 2X minimum wage if they do) Note: If you choose to bring something better, that is on you, but will it pass the smell test if they supply cr*p and then complain you are not getting the job done.
