YOU DO NOT ADD books from the old library backup. The backup IS A LIBRARY. Simply copy it (the Library folder) over to a folder on the new drive. The us Create/Switch: use existing: <the folder>. Done! (except for overall user settings).
If you rename the copied FOLDER before the Create/Switch, that will be the Library name you see in Calibre .
