After updating to Kindle 5.19.2 all the pdf books that you have sideloaded with Calibre will have the text search disabled. The magnifying glass search icon will not appear on these books any more.
The only way to make a sideloaded pdf searchable on a Kindle after updateing to 5.19.2 will be to use the "Send to Kindle" option via the web and download it to your Kindle from the Amazon Cloud.
