It's going to take a while, but the ruling upholding the policy that AI created content is not copyrightable is going to shake out down through the industry. AI bros are going to have their content "stolen" and whine about it. People publishing code under FOSS licenses are going to be faced with the fact that without copyright their choice of license is unenforceable, and also proprietary licenses, etc. The case was over artwork, but the policy the Copyright Office followed is defined around the amount and kind of contribution a human provided in the output of "content" and "material" not just art.
