Hello all, I'm new here, so this is my first post, lol.

1. Metadata: Will Calibre be able to save details I worked on, like to save the book directly without converting? Like I do authors, tags, genres, etc...? The bottom of this, I'm trying to avoid converting, but put details and be able to save a book for me to use it anywhere.

2. Cover: After putting a new cover, I tried to save a book directly. It shows a new cover separately, but the book that I saved is not updated with the cover. Does it require me to convert?
