OK I found the setting between paged mode and flow mode. In paged mode you can 'scroll' but only to flip a whole page at a time. I seem to read better when I am scrolling smoothly through the book. I am sure I can adjust to flipping a page at a time, but if there is some other way to end this problem and still be able to scroll through a line or couple of lines at a time, that would be better for me. Thanks
