Yikes! All 3 of mine were under 8 lbs, thank goodness.
It would wonderful to be there to help her, but just think how much more allert the baby will be when you are there at Christmas time! That will really being something to look forward to.

My first child was a girl and 15 months later I had a boy. One of my co-workers told me I had a "rich man's family" because now I had to buy all new clothes.
Little did she know, I probably would have done that anyway!
