Keep in mind that if you JB and install the USB networking package you will be able to SSH into the Kindle. You can install compatible binaries from repository if you match the architecture and kernel as long as you also include any missing dependencies. I did so in creating the SOX media player. You can invoke any script or binary from a KUAL menu entry once you create it.
