I think I've reached my limit on this.
The program will be available for anyone who feels a need to use it and for whom it provides a benefit, but that's it.
It is now, technically, a PWA, which means that you can "install" it (from the Browser) on Windows, iOS and Android and it will look and act somewhat like an app, with its own icon and so on.
@Sirtel: thank you very much for your help on this--I learned a lot, both about programming dropbox and about how real people use Calibre.
