They do: Of course I tried several to be sure before reporting this.
I also checked earlier on the HTML source via "Edit matadata individually" for hidden colorizing before updating with the "Embed metadata" feature as suggested by Kovid: they were clean.

P.S.: just to test I did put colorization in the HTML and embedded it. The result is about the same: sometimes just a trifle lighter, but not by much.
