It did. First first: Delete that azw2 files from "documents" folder on your Kindle.

Second: Then take "Update_KUALBooklet_XXXXX_install.bin" file from the archive you downloaded from NiLuJe's Snapshots thread and copy it to "mrpackages" folder > eject from computer > install it by using ;log mrpi.

I just can't recall the information from which firmware users should use "KUAL (coplate)" installers instead of regular, older version.
It's been more than a decade since I sold my PW1.
