Abbey is in no pain, and very little discomfort. I must say she loooks kinda funny, one eye is very dilated, the other normal. I think both mommy and child willhave haing a restful nap soon. They both need it.
Hopefully this will be the final surgery. Only time will tell.
Glasses and patches don't work for her particular problem.
Kazbats, I know that cough. Hope your daughter gets much better really soon.
Yvan, I save the stick for those who really need it.....like some members here. . We don't know what causes her problems, other than a weakness of her eye muscles...
Now I go to eat.

glad all is well - plenty of chocolate, hugs and cuddles will do very well indeed....

another good trick for resting the eyes, particularly when you've been reading or staring at the screen :
take a deep breath and hold it, simultaneously tensing all the muscles you can : arms, stomach, legs, etc. and squeezing your eyes shut tightly. hold it for a few seconds, then let out your breath and relax all your muscles. the reason this works is that the involuntary muscles (in your eyes) are contracted along with the voluntary ones (arms, etc.) and when you relax them all at once it forces the involuntary muscles to relax as well. i do this and it helps a lot. it does make you look a bit foolish though so best to do it when you're alone.

Absolutely brilliant !!!!! Drinks and chocolate all round - and don't forget that party we mentioned elsewhere .....
