There are two stories, both by Australian writers, "The Great Pearl" by Roderic Quinn, and "The Story of the Big Pearl", by Ernest Favenc, in this issue. Favenc's story appeared in 1890, Quinn's in 1895. Very different approach to a similar idea.
This issue also includes a hard-boiled crime novelette by Cleve F Adams. and even a fairy tale by the author of "Ann of Green Gables".
