Nothing should have really changed in any major way for the AppImage (especially with regards to running plugins). |
FWIW I just downloaded the RC2 AppImage onto my Linux Manjaro box and tested running a bunch of plugins AFTER making sure the Use Bundled Python was checked and they all worked.
