Koreader is really interesting project. Though probably not for everyone. I suspect most people would prefer something pre-installed plug-and-play. Not just because of the technical hurdles but also the risk and fear of bricking an expensive device. If Koreader had a little more visual polish and you could buy it pre-installed on an open e-reader then maybe there'd be no need for a calibre OS.
