I totally feel your pain - losing Marvin is such a blow for heavy readers. Have you tried KyBook 3? It has really robust cloud integration (Dropbox/Google Drive/OPDS) and usually indexes things pretty well so you can search without that painful 5-minute lag. It also supports tap-to-turn and has a lot of the 'power user' formatting options that Marvin fans love.
