Error: "Failed to connect to port 9090. Try a different value."

About a week or two ago, immediately on calibre launch, I started getting this:

ERROR: Problem starting the wireless device: The wireless device driver had problems starting. It said "Failed to connect to port 9090. Try a different value."

A Google/AI search led me to try changing the port to 9091, which worked for a while, but now I'm getting the message "Failed to connect to port 9091".

So, right now, I changed the port back to 9090, and it worked again, but on calibre relaunch, I immediately get "Failed to connect to port 9090" again. Strangely, when I then change it back to 9091 I again get the error, and when I then AGAIN change it to 9090, it then DOESN'T work, i.e. error again, so it appears to have been a fluke or something that 9090 worked for me again just two minutes ago.

Anyone know what might be up and/or a remedy?

I'm on calibre, version 9.2.0.

Thank you in advance for any time taken to respond.
