Funny how it is a zip file, but maybe that is seen as a deterrent to immediately side-loading to a Kobo device. Other than that, it is kind of weird that Amazon seem to be supporting epub devices now.
Anyway at least it is less painful now to get some ebooks from Amazon ... at least where you know they are DRM-Free and likely listed as such.
I grabbed a couple of free Joe Vasicek ebooks, which I know are always DRM-Free.
