Hi. I chatted with two different Amazon operator... one said that orphan editions prevent kindle from generating the thumbnails..nevertheless, she suggested me to connect my kindle by usb cable in order to erase a folder named "system" (but I said that there's no such a folder in the root of my device).
Then, another person told me that my kindle is too old and the lack of updating would possibly be the cause of everything..
I said that I was strictly disappointed because my device is still working so to me it is not fair to throw it away and I'm not interested in a new version. So I left a bad feedack in which I said I will migrate to a competitor.
