Question regarding OLD jailbreak

Eons ago, I jailbroke my K2 (international etidion 3G, serial starting with B003) with a wonky method (i think the creator of either the exploit or a specific part of it was named something vaguely chinese iirc), that allowed me to flash the K3 firmware (currently running 3.2.1), and use its fonts and features.

It runs sluggish as hell (especially when off - to on), and never cared to much, since the actual page turns are fine imho. But I have recently found out that there are a series of updated exploits and the existance of KOreader (yes, I know, I'm *very* late to the party).

I've recently got an xteink X4 that supports KOreader syncing, and would very much like to enjoy this feature when hopping back on to my Kindle.

Since my K2 kindle is in this frankenstein state, I was wondering if it is possible either to revert it (back to OG 2.5.8) and then start with the legacy exploits + legacy variant of KOreader, or if I'm stuck in this limbo. Can I safely use a 3.2.1 variant of the jailbrake in this state?

Any information / pointers are welcome.
