Hi, just to clarify what I'm doing, and by the way I'm 'he' not 'they'. My Calibre library is not networked, it is a single library on Box cloud storage. I am the only user, so it is exactly the same as if it were local storage, again I am the only person accessing it.

When I have finished editing the library, I close Calibre and run MegaSync to sync to a copy of Calibre on Mega, one level of backup. Overnight I have MegaSync on one of my Android tablets set to sync to a local copy of Calibre on my tablet, a second level of backup.

I run Calibre's database integrity checks fairly regularly and the only errors I get are minor and similar to those that I occasionally got when running Calibre on my local hard drive.

I took the Cloud route because I wasn't happy with the level of backup I could have from my PC. Sure I could copy to an external drive or across my network to another of my PCs, but those methods have their own problems.

I think my solution is fairly elegant and works for me. The only slight concern I have is that should some corruption occur it would be extrapolated through the levels of backup, but that would apply to any local backup scenario as well.

Best Regards
Ian.
