Has anyone gotten an actual EPUB or PDF using this process?

My default Kindle is the 2022 edition with 16 GB storage, Firmware: Kindle 5.17.1.0.3 (4351890007). I also have a newer 13th generation Fire tablet for those books that won't download to my Kindle reader. I am downloading the "additional formats" to my Windows 11 PC.

As I have mentioned before, I like to be able to open all my eBooks using the built-in Calibre reader for reference when writing reviews.
Your browser to changing the filename from .epub to .zip. So you are best to dump that browser and get one that actually works such as Firefox.
