BTW charging from a standard USB port is limited to .5A. Many newer USB-C devices (Tablets and Laptops) have a Turbo mode the rated charge adapters can negotiate (if the devices doe shows 'slow charging', then faster could be gained by using an approved charger).
Can you get the amount of charge from a jailbroken Kindle?
