I say no - bookshelves are not an index/catalogue.
In the example shown Anat Admati [translator] is the third name in the list of 'Authors' for the book "Rios De Londres"

The last beta a introduced a fix to unlock frozen pending pages count queue case, but that lead to make freeze the gui if the queue is too important (sorry on my part because I insited to solve it and discovered the resulting issue very later
)

In waiting a new build, the only thing I can suggest is open Calibre in background and wait that the entire library is scanned.
