It depends on which partitions are corrupted on the flash drive. The partition you have write access to can be regenerated by the system, so maybe you can just duplicate your old memory card and then get the device to reformat the user partition on the new card. I would not try to do any more write operations on your faulty card, though. Make a backup and then leave it alone in case you need to read it again in the future.
