For the record... I have no machines with an old enough version of Microsoft Visual Studio installed to even build XP compatible binaries (let alone an XP installation to test on). Without a lot of manual tricks, Visual Studio 2019 16.7, was the last version to fully support building XP compatible binaries with the v141_xp toolset. GitHub's oldest Action Runners are in the same boat. I could not build an XP compatible version of Sigil (even an ancient version) if I wanted to. I'm very sorry.

Maybe someone who has archived a working Sigil installer for XP that they'd be willing to share will see this and share? That's your best hope right now, I'm afraid. I'll look through my personal archives, but I don't hold out much hope. I can't even remember what the newest feature set for one of my XP legacy builds would have included.
