Hi!
I'm currently using Calibre on my PC to manage my library and upload books on my Kobo via USB. I'm also using my Synology sync tool to keep a copy of the library and database on my NAS, just in case.
I'd love to be able to sync remotely my Kobo by leveraging Calibre/Calibre-web. Since Calibre doesn't play nice with network drives, I've let go of my first idea, which was to have my desktop Calibre use the library on the NAS and have the backup on the PC.
Is there a way for me to:
- use my PC Calibre to manage my library
- be able to download books on my Kobo and sync read progress from the NAS (so I can do it even when my PC is off)
- have the PC and the NAS libraries also synced?
My initial idea was to install calibre-web on my NAS, but since the NAS library gets overwritten daily by the PC one, that means read progress will be reset everyday (I assume calibre and calibre-web share their database, but I might be wrong).
Thanks for the help!
