I am not in any way an expert on this sort of thing but as far as I know, and as far as I have seen on YouTube, the pre-existing methods for removing the DRM protection from Kindle books no longer work on the currently available Amazon eBooks. Perhaps I am wrong about that - as I said I am no expert on this - but all of the newest videos I have seen say that the old methods no longer work. If that is incorrect perhaps you could explain?
The point I was trying to make is that it is not possible to buy these books from other eBook vendors if they are only available from Amazon through Kindle. Amazon is said to hold 80% of the eBook market and I assume that much of that is due to many of the books are only available from Kindle due to the authors being locked into the Amazon ecosystem.
