It won't charge, it was never store anywhere outside, but I imagine the battery is quite dead after all these years.

From my Wiki I found it looks like B and N still is works with Amazon, not sure, just was interesting to read the Wiki. I know all the info might not be exactly right, but I realize now, I maybe could have gone on using it longer, instead of getting a Kindle.
Main thing is, I've had many hours of reading, and no, heavy books to move around. And I moved around a lot. Always looking for greener grass as they say

That is the Nook Tablet. That was also my first Nook and I truly loved it. Mine died a couple of years ago and I took it to Best Buy for recycling. I have since switched to eink Nooks, Kindles, and Kobo. (I love to play with different gadgets, LOL)
Barnes and Noble still sells a tablet device. I don't own one so I am not sure you can get the Kindle app on it, but I think you can. It looks like a nice device. It's called the Nook 9" Lenovo Tablet.
