I did a quick test (cross post from

Quote:

I can confirm that once books have been opened, they open more quickly afterwards. This remains persistent even if the device is restarted. However, if you change the text settings in the book, the book will take 10 seconds to open again the next time, and then every subsequent opening will be faster. Apparently, certain attributes are now cached for the book.
What is not described is that when you change text settings in the book, a “Loading” dialog now appears, and you don't have to wonder why the device is now frozen.
The options for turning pages in the book are there, addressing a regression in the 5.x firmware.
Word wrapping still doesn't work for me, despite the fixed text alignment.

The Bluetooth settings are now available in the status bar. This brings the 5.x firmware in line with the 4.x firmware. It does what it's supposed to do.
The bug where the text in toast messages goes beyond the edges of the text box has still not been fixed. For example, when you start manual synchronization, the notification text extends beyond the frame. Since this does not happen in the “Loading” dialog, my guess is that the text size in all UI elements was simply set to a default and not checked, but when the “Loading” dialog was built, it was actually checked and implemented correctly in this case.
I've also had the first device crash after the update. So that still happens now and then.
