How?
When I log into my Kobo account and check My Books I do not see any download link and all of the research I have done on this tells me that Kobo only allows a browser reader for desktop books, at least for my Mac and that Kobo will not allow a download.
Here is a screenshot of one of the books in my library and the associated link (there is only one).
