I am relatively new to using Kobo, having been a Kindle reader until recently. I do not have a Kobo device, but have downloaded the Kobo app to my Android devices - a Pixel phone and a Boox eReader. I am not sure that this sub-forum is for Kobo apps or just for the Kobo device so if I am posting in the wrong place please let me know.

One problem is that after I download a new book to my phone and Boox device I can not find it anywhere. I have looked in the Android folder under

Android -> data -> com.kobobooks.android

where I assume it should be, but it is not there on my phone or Boox. I know it is downloaded because if I put my devices in Airplane mode I can still read them, but where is it?

I have not tried this on an iPhone yet, although I may try this today. Can anyone point me to where the book actually is?

The other problem I have is that one of the books I downloaded does not display clearly when reading on my devices. I want to increase the contrast to fix the problem but there does not seem to be a contrast control in the Kobo app and I cannot find a system contrast control on my Android phone. Is there some hidden way to control the contrast in the Kobo app?
