Display Mode option on a Kobo

I'm running koreader on my kobo clara hd (2025.10-74)
Some time before I updated to this version, I noticed that the thumbnails
for books where not showing anymore.
After digging around it looks like I need to hit the 'cabinet' icon
and then hit 'display-mode'. And make changes there.
This works on my kindle and my linux system.

BUT here is the problem: On my kobo, when I hit the 'cabinet' icon
there is no 'Display mode' option.
The rest of the options on that menu are the same on all my systems.

If I do a Menu search for 'Display mode', on linux and kindle it shows up.
On my kobo it says "No menus containing 'display mode' found."

Does anyone have any advice on how to get 'display-mode' back?
