My oldest Kindle is a 10th Generation Kindle that is currently unregistered. I didn't register it after I installed a new battery last year.
My active Kindle which is registered doesn't show a device type in Content and Devices. I bought it new in July 2023.
I also have a 13th generation Fire tablet. The Fire doesn't show the files for downloaded Kindle books... at least not that I can find.
Would registering my 10th gen Kindle facilitate getting books into Calibre as KFX rather than KFX.ZIP?
