In what I quoted, I can see that you said "except for". Still seems strange to me.
When your "except for" eliminates 1/2 of a previous statement, it seems a little strange/funny, to me.
How about these...
None of Kobo's current ereaders are 300DPI, except for the its 6", 7" and 8" models.
Kobo offers BW for all of it's current ereaders, except for its 7" and 8" devices.
Kobo only has a reader >9", except for its 6", 7" and 8" readers.
And just to be ridiculous, I wonder how this would work in a legal case...
Judge: "You have been found guilty of 2 counts of 1st degree murder."
Murderer: "But Judge, except for that 2nd person I murdered, I only murdered one person."
Just an opinion. I'm comfortable being the only one with this opinion/quirk.
