i didnt know how to get it working bc i didnt understand vnc ip address and port meaning at the time, but anchovy's vnc cli tool does work for nia too, i noted that elinkser had to use droidvnc, same thing applied to me, when i used tightvnc i couldnt get it to connect
"cannot initialize VNC session: failed to fill whole buffer"
update:this error was caused by me blocking connections from tightvnc server side
hmm idk what i did differently, seems i messed up first time round i got it partially working on windows tightvnc and x11vnc linux on nia but with same problem, i got it to connect without the failed to whole buffer error instead connection is successful but display is only showing movements rather than the screen itself, ie i can only see the mouse moving and nothing else except maybe small snippets of the change in screen, i see theres some apple references in the code i wonder if author is a mac user and tested on that.
oioi it seems ive figured out how to get it working, it works on nia perfectly so long as you so the following, you must make the screen resolution of the server smaller than or equal to the screen resolution of the device, and then it works just great! you also must rotate it to fit and then everything shows perfectly, before i could only see some things but now i see it all!
