Terrible Boox Support Experience (Finished after +4 months)

I've used Boox devices for years now and this has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

About to hit 3 months since I started my repair request.

9/30/2025 - Reached out because my charging port stopped working
10/9/2025 - Response from them. Back and forth for a few days and then ship out the device
10/21/2025 - They confirm that the repair center received the package
10/28/2025 - We'll check but there's a backlog of devices
11/5/2025 - We told the repair center to hurry up
11/17/2025 - we are waiting for an update from the repair center
12/3/2025 - We sent an email to the leader of the repair center to get an update
12/17/2025 - The main technician had an emergency the last few weeks and will work on your device ASAP

All of the conversations have been initiated by me to see where we stand since they seem to forget about the tablet after every email or have no insight into what is going on. Hard to recommend the devices ever again.

Luckily I have a jailbroken kindle to read on but they seem to be completely indifferent to the whole situation. Definitely think long before you decide to purchase another Boox device imo...
